In Gurugram adjacent to Delhi, 57 incidents of fire due to bursting of firecrackers were reported on Diwali night, in which eight people got burnt and six vehicles were burnt to ashes. Officials gave this information on Friday.

Officials said that no one died in these incidents, but property worth lakhs of rupees was destroyed. A senior official said that five of the burnt people are undergoing treatment at the Civil Hospital while three have been referred to Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital.
