Assembly By Election Result Live: Counting of votes has started after by-elections on 13 assembly seats in seven states. The results of these 13 seats will be declared today.
These include Rupauli assembly seat of Bihar, Raiganj, Ranaghat South and Maniktala of West Bengal, Vikravandi of Tamil Nadu, Amarwada of Madhya Pradesh, Badrinath and Mangalore of Uttarakhand and Jalandhar seat of Punjab.
Apart from this, by-elections were held on Tehra, Hamirpur and Nalagarh seats of Himachal Pradesh. Let us tell you that this was the first election after the Lok Sabha elections.

By Election Results Live: Counting of votes for the Amarwara Assembly by-election in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh began at 8 am today amid strict security arrangements.
Initial trends will start coming in one or two hours and the fate of all nine candidates will be decided by noon. Counting of votes is being done in the local Government PG College building. 17 tables have been set up for counting the votes cast in 332 polling stations of Amarwara Assembly constituency and four tables for counting postal ballots.
Counting of votes will be completed in about 20 rounds. On July 10, 78.87 percent of the 2.57 lakh voters of Amarwara exercised their franchise. Along with strict security arrangements for counting, measures for complete transparency have been taken.
