Recently, Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda of Jyotish Peeth had alleged that 228 kg of gold was missing from the Kedarnath temple. His allegation was refuted by many saints. Five days after Swami Avimukteshwarananda made the allegation, now Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has refuted this allegation. He said that all the allegations made by Avimukteshwarananda are beyond facts. Pushkar Singh Dhami was talking to journalists on Friday. During this, he was asked questions on the allegations made by Swami Avimukteshwarananda. Responding to the question, CM Dhami said that these allegations are beyond facts. While answering, Dhami also gave figures. Dhami said that since the construction and renovation of the temple, so much gold would not have come to the temple till date. Giving an estimate, he said that only a quarter of it would have come to the temple till date.
CM Dhami said that I do not want to speak much on this matter, because the saints of the temple committee have denied this. He said that the saints have also said that this allegation is beyond facts. During this, CM Dhami said that it is the abode of Baba Kedarnath and if someone does such an act in Baba’s house, then he cannot escape Baba’s eyes.
Let us tell you that recently Swami Avimukteshwarananda had reached Mumbai for Anant Ambani’s wedding. During this, he reached the residence of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and met him. While leaving from here, Swami had alleged that gold was missing from the Kedarnath temple. Now Pushkar Singh Dhami has denied his allegations. Dhami has also thanked PM Modi for his contribution in the reconstruction of the four Dhams.
