NEET PG hearing live: Arguments in the petition seeking postponement of NEET PG
NEET PG hearing live: The petition filed by Vishal Soren states that NEET PG candidates are facing a lot of difficulties in reaching their examination centers. They have been allotted centers by NBEMs in such cities, where it is very inconvenient for them to reach. Apart from the examination centers being hundreds of kilometers away, the petition also argues for postponing the exam that the candidates have not yet been told the formula for normalization. The NEET PG exam is to be held in two shifts, so the candidates are confused about which formula their marks will be normalized by. The case will be heard in the apex court today on August 9. The petition states, ‘Candidates from the same place have been allotted cities where it is very inconvenient for them to reach and apart from this, details of the normalization formula of four sets of question papers have been sought and clarity has been sought on ensuring that the normalization formula is told to the candidates, so that any possibility of arbitrariness in the process can be eliminated.’
