The cellphone of the man whose phone was used to threaten Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on November 5 was allegedly stolen by a thief. A senior Mumbai Police official said that the mobile phone of a person named Faizan Khan from Raipur was stolen a few days ago and he had also lodged a complaint with the police.

Shahrukh Khan had received this threat on the landline of Bandra Police Station. The extortionist demanded Rs 50 lakh from the actor and threatened to kill him. The caller said: “Ask for Rs 50 lakh from Shahrukh Khan. If he doesn’t give, he will die… My name is not important, but if you want to write, don’t write the name ‘Hindustani’.”

While ascertaining the details of the number, a team of Crime Branch of Bandra Police reached Raipur, Chhattisgarh to nab Faizan, in whose name the number was registered.The police have now started searching for the mobile phone thief.
Earlier, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had received death threats several times. Recently, Karnataka authorities detained a person from Jalore, Rajasthan in connection with this case. Salman Khan reportedly received a threatening call on November 5. The suspect has been identified as Bikaram Jalaram Bishnoi, who reportedly said, “I am the brother of Lawrence Bishnoi. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he will have to apologize in our temple or pay Rs 5 crore. If If he fails to do so, we will kill him. Our gang is still active.”
