Sources say that preparations for the event have begun on the banks of Dal Lake. Officials are busy with security arrangements and arrangements for the event. PM Modi will be the chief guest at the event held at the International Convention Center near Dal Lake.
An official said, ‘PM Narendra Modi will reach Srinagar on the evening of June 20. After this, he will attend the Yoga Day program on the morning of the 21st. This week, the SPG team will reach Srinagar and the security arrangements of the area will be checked. LG Manoj Sinha has ordered the administration to keep the security arrangements tight. Some big players and athletes from Jammu and Kashmir may also participate in this event.
