New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) scripted a political resurgence in the national capital, clinching 48 out of 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, ending the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) decade-long rule. The Election Commission of India (ECI) declared the results on Saturday, marking the BJP’s return to power in Delhi after a 27-year hiatus, while AAP secured 22 seats and the Congress drew a blank 41011.

  1. BJP’s Landslide Victory:

    • Other AAP stalwarts, including former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia (Jangpura) and Satyendar Jain (Shakur Basti), also lost their seats to BJP candidates 1012.
