Bollywood stars are furious over Kolkata rape case
Several celebrities including Vijay Varma, Ayushmann Khurrana, Malaika Arora, Richa Chadha, Parineeti Chopra and Sonakshi Sinha have reacted to the protests following the tragic rape and murder of a lady doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital and demanded a CBI inquiry and justice in the case from Mamata Banerjee. The incident has created a wave of outrage on social media and among people, with students, activists, politicians and celebrities expressing their disappointment over the appalling state of women’s safety in India.
