The Special MP-MLA Court of Agra has ordered to issue notice to Kangana Ranaut in the case of statement given regarding farmers movement and Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.
Rupali’s daughter Isha, born from her second marriage to husband Ashwin K Verma, alleged that Rupali abused her and her mother “mentally, emotionally and physically”. Ganguly, known for her lead role in the hit TV series Anupamaa, had earlier remained silent on the matter, but has now decided to give a direct reply to the allegations. On November 11, Ganguly filed the suit with the help of his legal representative, celebrity lawyer Sana Raees Khan, who was also a Bigg Boss 17 contestant. The suit seeks damages of Rs 50 crore, saying Isha’s public claims have unfairly tarnished Ganguly’s personal and professional reputation. According to Khan’s legal team, Ganguly’s decision to take legal action was influenced by Isha’s comments regarding her 11-year-old son Rudransh, which the actress found unacceptable.
