Mumbai Crime Branch has officially started the process of extradition of Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is wanted in connection with the shooting incident at actor Salman Khan’s residence as well as several other cases across India, sources said. .Last week, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) added Anmol Bishnoi’s name to its most wanted list and announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for any information leading to his arrest.
According to Mumbai Police sources, the US authorities have confirmed Anmol Bishnoi’s presence in the US to the Indian authorities. Anmol Bishnoi has more than 17 criminal cases registered against him in India and is also involved in the Salman Khan shooting case along with his brother Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar.
According to police officials, Anmol Bishnoi, also wanted in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, is accused of supplying imported weapons used in the singer’s murder. Bishnoi had allegedly provided Turkish-made Tissa pistol and Glock firearm, which were used in the killing of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui on October 12. Sources revealed that Bishnoi was in touch with one of the suspects in Siddiqui’s murder, suggesting his possible involvement in the conspiracy.

The Mumbai Crime Branch has informed the Mumbai Sessions Court about Bishnoi’s extradition case and soon the file will be sent to the Center for further processing.
The 66-year-old NCP leader was shot dead by three men while he was bursting crackers on the occasion of Dussehra (October 12). Police said Anmol Bishnoi was in direct contact with the accused and used social media application Snapchat to stay in touch with the accused while he was working from Canada and the US.

So far, the police have arrested 10 people in connection with the murder of Baba Siddiqui, including two shooters and an arms supplier.
