New Delhi. Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman and Union Minister Mohsin Naqvi has assured to issue quick visas to Indian fans wishing to come to their country to watch next year’s ICC Champions Trophy matches. He gave this assurance during a meeting with a group of Sikh pilgrims from America.
Naqvi said that PCB is hopeful that a large number of Indian cricket lovers will visit Pakistan to watch the Champions Trophy matches. He wants Indian fans to come to Pakistan and watch the match between these two countries in Lahore. “We will keep a special quota of tickets for Indian fans and we will take appropriate steps to issue visas as soon as possible,” Naqvi was quoted as saying by a newspaper.

Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy in February-March next year but the International Cricket Council (ICC) has not yet released its schedule as it wants confirmation that the Indian government will allow its team to participate in the competition. Will you be allowed to travel or not?
Let us tell you that BCCI has already said that it will not send the Indian team to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. India has asked for a neutral venue. India’s matches in the 2023 ODI Asia Cup were also played in Sri Lanka on the hybrid model. PCB has submitted the draft of the Champions Trophy schedule to ICC in which all India’s matches, semi-finals and final will be held in Lahore. The match between India and Pakistan is to be held on March 1. It remains to be seen whether the Indian government sends the team there or not.
