Police on Monday arrested jailed gangster Kaushal Chaudhary’s wife Manisha for trying to extort Rs 2 crore from a hotel owner. The officers provided this information.
He said that Manisha, allegedly working on behalf of Kaushal Chaudhary and Amit Dagar gang, told the hotel owner on phone that if the money was not received, they would open fire on the hotel. Besides, death threats were also given.
He said that two mobile phones have been recovered from his possession. Gurugram police on Monday produced Manisha in a city court, from where she was sent to six-day police remand, officials said.
