Due to rivalry near the DIG bungalow in Nawabganj, a group of HBTU students beat an engineering student with an iron buckle. Due to this he suffered serious injuries on his head and nose. The father of the victim student has lodged an FIR against the attackers in the Nawabganj police station.
Deepak Kumar Dixit, resident of Kamlanagar, Nazirabad, runs private coaching. His son Uday Dixit is a second year student of B.Tech Plastic Engineering at HBTU. Uday told that Abhinandan Singh Sengar and Bhupendra Yadav, residents of Omaxe City, Lucknow, who were studying with him, had a grudge against him. Actually Abhinandan Singh is a class representative who rarely came to college. Last year, Abhinandan had called for mass bunk, but Uday had not participated in it. Because of this, both the accused started having enmity with him. According to Uday, the assignment was to be submitted on 25th October and Abhinandan said that no student would submit it.
On this also Uday went to college and submitted the assignment. Angered by this, both the accused along with their other associates beat Uday with the belt buckle near the DIG bungalow outside the HBTU campus. He suffered serious injuries due to this. In this regard, Inspector Nawabganj Dinanath Mishra said that an FIR has been registered in the matter. The accused will be arrested soon and action will be taken.
