Rajasthan batsman Mahipal Lomror scored a triple century in the Ranji Trophy match against Uttarakhand on Thursday. Lomror has caught the attention of all the franchises with his performances ahead of the IPL auction. Lomror, who came to bat at number three, scored 300 runs in 360 balls. During his innings he hit 25 fours and 13 sixes. This is Mahipal’s highest individual score in first-class cricket, his previous best was 133 runs.

Mahipal Lomror returned unbeaten after scoring 300 runs. Rajasthan declared its innings at 660 for 7 wickets in its first innings. Lomror shared a partnership of over 100 runs with Karthik Sharma (113) and wicketkeeper batsman Bharat Sharma (54), helping Rajasthan post a mammoth score of 660 runs in the first innings.

Before this match, Mahipal had 16 fifties and seven centuries in his name in first class cricket and also has more than 3000 runs. This was the first time that Lomror scored a double century and then also completed his first triple century. Apart from Lomror, Snehal Kauthankar and Kashyap Bakle also scored triple centuries for Goa in Ranji Trophy. Kashyap Bakle returned unbeaten after scoring 300 runs on 269 balls.
