Splitsvilla 5 fame Nitin Chauhan was found dead in Mumbai on November 7. The 35-year-old actor shocked everyone with the news of his death. Mumbai Police has confirmed it as suicide and investigation is ongoing. According to a report by NDTV, according to the police, Nitin was undergoing treatment for depression.

Nitin’s wife revealed that he was not getting any work for the last three-four years and was in depression. Due to this his mental health deteriorated. Nitin also faced difficulties in finding work and reportedly tried to start an ice cream business.
Well, the business did not do well and failed. According to the statement given by Nitin’s wife to the police, this increased the tension in the family further. When Nitin passed away, his wife was in the garden with their daughter. When the mother-daughter duo returned and rang the bell, no one responded. The door was locked from inside. They forcefully opened the door and were shocked to see his dead body.

Talking about the work front, Nitin was last seen in Tera Yaar Hoon Main in 2022. His co-stars from the show Sudip Sahir and Sayantani Ghosh confirmed the news of his death. Vibhuti Thakur shared a picture of herself with the star and wrote, ‘Rest in peace, my dear. I am really shocked and saddened. I wish you had the strength to face all the troubles. I wish you were as strong mentally as your body. Actor Sudeep Sahir paid tribute to his co-star and wrote, ‘Rest in peace, friend’.
Nitin came into limelight after winning Dadagiri 2. He was from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh and participated in Splitsvilla 5. He was seen in Zindagi.com and Crime Patrol.
