New Delhi. It will take a long time for the Indian cricket team to forget the defeat in the Test series against New Zealand. Meanwhile, Team India has reached South Africa in a different format, with a different captain and a different coach. The Indian team went on a foreign tour under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav to play a 4-match T20 series. BCCI has shared the information about the team’s arrival with the fans. VVS Laxman will be seen in the role of team coach in South Africa.
Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir has not gone on the South Africa tour due to being busy in the Test series against New Zealand. In his place, former Indian batsman VVS Laxman will take over the responsibility of the coach of the Indian team. The Indian team has to play four T20 matches on this tour. The first match is to be played at Kingsmead on 9 November. The second match will be played on 10th at St. George’s Oval. The third T20 match is to be held at SuperSport Park while the last match will be held at Wanderers Stadium.
