Aryan, son of former Team India player and batting coach Sanjay Bangar, is in the news. Actually, Aryan has shared the journey of his 10-month hormonal transformation on social media. However, after the video went viral, he has now deleted it. In the Instagram reel, 23-year-old Aryan had shared pictures after hormone replacement therapy along with former India captains MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli and some old pictures with his father.
After hormonal transformation, Aryan has also changed his name to Anaya. There is still a post on his Instagram related to his transformation.
Let us tell you that Aryan aka Anaya is a cricketer like his father. He lives in Manchester, England and plays cricket there. However, till now he has not got a chance on any big stage. In a video shared on his Instagram, it can be seen that he is a left-handed batsman. However, after the transformation, his cricket career has come to an end. He has written about it in a post on Instagram. Changes in body and lack of rules and regulations regarding trans women playing international cricket have been cited as the reasons for this.
Aryan expressed his pain of leaving cricket. During this he wrote that, cricket has always been a part of my life since a young age. Growing up, I watched my father represent and coach the country. I started dreaming of following in his footsteps. His passion, discipline and dedication towards the game was very inspiring for me. Cricket became my love, my ambition and my future. I have spent my entire life honing my skills. I hoped that one day I too would get a chance to represent my country like him.
