CM Yogi Adityanath has given a statement for the first time regarding the Supreme Court’s decision regarding the minority status of Aligarh Muslim University in Uttar Pradesh. In the ongoing campaign for the by-elections in Uttar Pradesh, he said that Aligarh Muslim University should be established as a minority institution or should remain as a general institution. He said that such an institution, which runs on the resources of India and is funded by public taxes, does not give reservation to backward, scheduled caste or tribal people, but is arranging 50 percent reservation for Muslims through itself.

Yogi said that the Constitution of India provides reservation facility to backward caste people on the basis of the report of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Mandal Commission, but why is this facility not available in AMU. He said that when India’s money is invested, they should get the benefit of reservation facility there also. This facility should be available in jobs and admission also. Why was it stopped, because Congress-SP, BSP do not want it. To save vote bank, these people are playing with your sentiments and national unity and identity.
Yogi Adityanath said in good news that through the Haryana Assembly election results, the public has replied that it wants a double engine government. We have built a state university in the name of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh of Aligarh, who was forgotten by the Congress. This university will create many generations of you. It has to be brought into competition whether Raja Mahendra Singh University moves forward or AMU. CM Yogi targeted Akhilesh Yadav in Karhal. Said that his conduct is against the sentiments of his father and SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav.
He said that Akhilesh Yadav’s SP is playing in the lap of Congress. Congress had imprisoned Netaji during Emergency. Netaji always opposed Congress. They used to say that one should not stay with it even through deceit, but SP has now distanced itself from Netaji’s values and ideals. He said that Mulayam Singh Yadav must be feeling pained by the actions of the SP leadership that his son is bent on destroying the party by mortgaging the SP to the Congress.

CM Yogi said that Samajwadi Party is a traitor to Ram. He did not go to visit the Ram temple because he felt that the vote bank would slip. Karhal residents should tell them that if you cannot respect Krishna-Kanhaiya then why do you come to take our votes. We say goodbye to you. BJP had said that Ramlala we will come, we will build the temple there. We did it and showed it. Shri Krishna-Kanhaiya, we will come, we will respect the public sentiments in Mathura also, does SP agree on this? Will Samajwadi Party support the government’s thinking regarding Mathura-Vrindavan? They want votes, but not the respect of Krishna-Kanhaiya. They are silent on this. The government is developing the pilgrimage sites of Mathura, Gokul, Barsana, Baldev and Vrindavan. It seems that Mathura-Vrindavan has gone back to the period five thousand years ago, when Kanhaiya himself resided there.
